Great Insight!

Last Sunday afternoon prior to celebrating the Eucharist: ~ Dad to Jaden: "J. Tonight we are celebrating Communion. You remember why we do this?" ~ Jaden to dad: "So God remembers that He died on the cross for us." Perplexed. I was going to correct him. But. But he's equally correct. A covenant God means that the promise goes both ways. Both parties have an obligation to the promise. I couldn't help but smile about the comment of my son after more than a few moments of thought. It seemed that his wisdom came from somewhere bigger than himself. Astounding.
